When is ECHO Dubai?
From December 14 to 16, 2017, we will bring you ECHO Festival Dubai – an art, design and technology festival taking place in Dubai Design District (Design quarter.)
ECHO is focused on showcasing to the world the power of art and technology, and how companies can harness this power to communicate and connect with their target audience.
We are committed to fostering a culture where art, science and technology thrive as interrelated subjects and pave the way for a new realm where companies can engage with their customers.
Who can attend ECHO?
ECHO Dubai is a B2B and a B2C platform. As ECHO covers a broad spectrum of topics and mediums, the ECHO audience is interested in expanding their knowledge on future topics, experiencing art in new ways and exchanging ideas within the realms of art, design and technology.
How much does it cost to register and attend?
There are multiple categories and registration prices for ECHO:
MEDIA: FREE online registration however you must present your confirmation email at the door of ECHO, between 2pm-4pm in exchange for your free 3-day Access Pass. From 4pm-11pm, a discounted Industry Registration fee of AED 70 is applicable for a 3-day Access Pass.
VISITOR: FREE online registration however you must present your confirmation email at the door of ECHO, for a free 3-day Access Pass.
INDUSTRY: FREE online registration however you must present your confirmation email at the door of ECHO, for a free 3-day Access Pass.
INSTALLATIONS:
Online
- AED 120 for a 1-day Access Pass
- AED 220 for a 3-day Access Pass
At the door
- AED 150 for a 1-day Access Pass
- AED 250 for a 3-day Access Pass
All visitors MUST register online to be eligible for free or discounted registration fees. Confirmation of your eligibility for these categories will be provided via email once you have submitted the relevant online registration form along with proof of trade such as business card, press badge, trade license, purchase order, invoice, etc.

If you have received an invitation to ECHO, you are invited to attend for free.
Can you bring a friend?
Registration and invitations are only valid for single person entry. If you would like to bring a friend or guest, they will need to purchase a ticket online or at the door.
Where does the event take place?
The event takes place at the Dubai Design District, Design Quarter. For directions, please click here.
Is there parking and/or valet at the event?
Yes, there is valet as well as complimentary self-parking at ECHO Dubai. Due to the fact that you might face heavy traffic at ECHO we encourage arriving at least 30 minutes prior to shows and talks. Kindly note that valet is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Can children attend the event?
Yes. However, they cannot access the areas which contain alcohol where the age limit by law is 21+ years old.
Can you pay by credit card?
Yes. Guests will be able to purchase Access Passes at the door, goods and products from our food and beverage outlets and EXPO via credit card.
Are all the events open to attendees?
Conferences, Talks, immersive installations, brand experiential booths, F&B outlets, after-parties and some social events within ECHO will be accessible to all guests, with the exception of the below, which require invitation-only or accreditation badge:
- The VIP Lounge
- VIP sound festival area
- Privately hosted sponsor events

Why Register Online?
Our online registration is for guests who wish to experience Fast Track into ECHO Dubai. It is also for those who wish to attend ECHO free of charge as accredited Media, Buyers, University Students, or Industry professionals.
What is the Online Registration Process?
- Fill out the Registration Form that you qualify for.
General: free registration to access the venue
Media, Buyers and Industry: free registration to access the venue
- Receive a Confirmation Email.
- Present your Confirmation Email at the door of ECHO in exchange for an Access Pass
- The free access pass will grant you entry to ECHO festival excluding, talks, conference, sound festival, installations, VIP lounge, and private after parties.
Can I register at the door as Media, Buyer or Industry?
No. Industry, Buyer, or Media MUST register in advance online via the relevant registration form and upload proof of trade or enrollment.
What do I do if I get rejected for Media, Buyer or Industry Registration?
Registrants who do not demonstrate adequate documentation will be informed via email and are encouraged to re-register via the General registration form online or purchase a General Access Pass at the door.

There are multiple categories and registration prices for ECHO. See the requirements of each registration category below to better acquaint yourself with the best category for you.
MEDIA REGISTRATION
To register and be accredited as media, you must work for a verified publication with broad audience reach and influence that demonstrates year-round support of the fashion industry. Broadcast, print and online outlets must all meet these requirements and provide the following supporting documentation:
- Press card
- Business card
- Commission form from verified publication (if freelancing)
Approved Media will be sent a confirmation email, which should be exchanged at the Media Desk at the door of ECHO for one type of Media Pass. Please see the types of Media Passes below to determine your eligibility.
GENERAL PRESS
To be registered for a PRESS Pass you must be editorial staff of a verified publication. Freelancers must submit the documentation on behalf of the publication they are working for.
Your Press Pass will grant you 3-day access to ECHO, as well as general seating for all shows and talks on a first come, first served basis. You will also be permitted to enter the Press Lounge and The Showroom to interview designers.
VIDEOGRAPHER/PHOTOGRAPHER
To be registered for a PHOTOGRAPHER/VIDEOGRAPHER pass you must be representing a verified publication. Freelancers must submit documentation on behalf of the publication they are working for.
Your Photographer/Videographer Pass will grant you 3-day access to ECHO, as well as general seating for all shows and talks on a first come, first served basis and exclusive access to the Media Pit at all the conferences, installations, and sound festival.
BLOGGER
To be registered for a Blogger pass you must be editorial staff representing a verified blog. Freelancers must submit the documentation on behalf of the publication they are working for.
Your Blogger Pass will grant you 3-day access to ECHO, as well as general seating for all conferences and talks on a first come, first served basis.
If you are a blogger who requires access to the photographer’s media pit for the runway shows, you must fill in the PHOTOGRAPHER/VIDEOGRAPHER form.
GENERAL REGISTRATION
All visitors can attend ECHO via General Registration
Refund/Cancellation
Below rules are applied to all ticket purchases unless stated otherwise on the ticket.
Customer can apply for a refund in below scenarios
- Event cancellation.
- Event date change. (not time)
All refunds will be made minus 5% transaction fee which is charged by the processing bank.
To gain a refund on tickets for a cancelled or rescheduled event please contact us via refunds@echofestivaldubai.com please make sure to give us your transaction number, ticket numbers, email address , full name and telephone number.
Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment
Ticket collection
Once the ticket is purchased online, ECHO digitally issues an Electronic ticket number sent to you via mail also can be printed at any time. Electronic ticket can be exchanged for a paper ticket / badge / bracelet at the venue on the day of the event which grants the entry. Collection booths are usually situated at the event near the entrance.
In order for ECHO to identify the customer it requires 2 of the below items to collect the ticket.
1) Printed Electronic ticket number
2) One of the below listed Identification Documents
- a) Valid Photo Identification document or International driving license or
- b) Emirates national ID or
- c) Valid Passport or Passport copy
- d) UAE Free Zone ID
- e) UAE Labor card
Liability
ECHO will not be held liable for any issues, damages physical injuries arising from the ECHO event
Privacy policy.
ECHO has the right to use customers data to send promotional messages via email and sms. Each user automatically agrees to receive notifications emails regarding their purchase and any other relative information as well as advertisement from our partners.
All credit/debit cards details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.
ECHO will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctions countries in accordance with the law of UAE.
Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE.
United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile.
Minors under the age of 18 shall are prohibited to register as a User of this website and are not allowed to transact or use the website.
If you make a payment for our products or services on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secured connection.
- The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.
- “We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED (or any other agreed currency)”.
- Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment.
